After the second round of rugby's Guinness Six Nations Championships it's England that are out in front with two wins from their opening two fixtures. But after defeat at home to England in their first fixture of the 2019 competition, Ireland returned to winning ways with a victory over Scotland at Murrayfield. And here at Atlas packaging we're delighted to be printing and cutting packaging for arguably Ireland's most famous export Guinness.
Guinness Export House drinks packaging made by Atlas Packaging
The Shelf Ready Packaging is High Quality Flexo printed on to single wall corrugated cardboard. The drinks pack is eye catching with the famous Guinness gold harp image standing out on the box as well as the signature in red of the founder Arthur Guinness. We printed the boxes on our CUIR Flexographic machine (pictured below) which is also a favourite of many others in the brewing industry including in the South West - St Austell Brewery, Cornish Orchards (Fullers) and Skinners.
The CUIR Flexographic printer was a £1.75M investment by Atlas in 2017
Here at Atlas Packaging we have the ability to print in up to six colours on one pass of the CUIR Flexographic printer and then precisely fold and glue the packaging on our Bobst Expertford, the only machine of its kind in the UK. The end result is a packaging solution for high quality easy to assemble and pack boxes that are delivered printed and flat by our own transport fleet to maximise the space on the pallet. The Guinness SRP is for the company's 'Export House' in Terminal 2 of Dublin Airport. Customers are able to have a tasting experience and the opportunity to buy a range of Guinness drinks and merchandise.
