Cornish Blooms flower box

A beautiful Flexo printed flower box that makes a wonderful first impression of your business

Traditionally these are extremely difficult products to transport due to their delicate nature alongside their requirement of soil and water to keep the product alive. Our award-winning design team have created a number of innovative flower boxes and flower packaging solutions to combat these issues.

The team will work closely with you to ensure that our flower boxes and packaging are not only protecting your product but adding a ‘wow factor’ for the consumer, emphasising the luxury and sentiment of the product. First impressions are so important for customers and identifying themselves with your brand.

Structural integrity is particularly important for products as delicate as flowers. Great emphasis is put into ensuring the strength of flower boxes, taking care to consider the materials used to surround and protect the flowers during transit. Our flower packaging includes innovative design features such as boxes that will retain plants and water if the package falls over or is inverted. The use of high grade corrugated cardboard ensures strength and resilience to safeguard the contents.

High Impact Flower Packaging

We understand immediate impressions of flower packaging are critical. The design not only represents the brand but sets the standard for the flowers inside. Atlas Packaging ensures flower packaging communicates luxury and high quality through the use of design and print features, which can be achieved using any one of our litho print, silk screen printing, digital and flexo post print facilities.

One example of this is the award-winning work we do for Interflora, whose flower boxes are finished in a deep glossy black print with gold embellished logo, indicating the luxury and quality of the brand. Atlas Packaging’s Luxury Hex Box for Interflora was recognised in the 2011 Starpack Industry Awards, scooping Silver in the “Luxury, Promotional & Giftware” category, as well as Bronze in the “Consumer Distribution Packaging (Business 2 Consumer)” category.

Another example is the “Hairy Pot Plant” company. Atlas created packaging for their coir pots (appropriately named ‘Transplant’) which would ensure that the soil be retained during transit. This was achieved with the use of specially designed quick-assembly flower pot packaging created from corrugated cardboard with voids to house the pots. When the box is folded shut, the tops of the pots are covered with a cardboard lid which acts as a retainer to keep the soil in place.

Again this proved to be award-winning thinking and it received a silver award in the ‘Best Component’ Starpack Award category, as well as a bronze award in the ‘Best Transit Pack’ category for innovation and environmentally-sound use of recycled card.

The Starpack awards are the UK packaging industry's most prestigious and long-standing awards scheme, with annual presentations to packaging companies that show innovation, environmentally sound credentials, and champion the needs of the customer.

Additionally Atlas Packaging use lean manufacturing methods to ensure cost effective packaging solutions, using FSC-certified renewable sources when requested.
